The shores along Lake Zug were, accordingly to Wikipedia, populated at least 6000 years ago with several sites in Cham that are dated to the late Bronze Age and was a settelment and probably a trading center in times of the Roman Empire. Today I and around 17.000 other people live. It is a very diverse urban area where housing blocks originating from the 70th were placed next door to farm houses or a wooden chalet. – I take photos here.
